Circle K is one of the world’s leading convenience and fuel retailer with 15,000 sites across its network in North America (U.S. and Canada), Europe (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Ireland, the Baltics and Russia), Asia and the Middle East. The European Management is placed in Oslo, Norway, and manages about 25,000 people.

Close to 60% of Circle K total fuel sales stem from B2B customers, utilizing fuel cards. The BCS division is responsible for all cards, services and product developments for Circle K in Europe. The Card & Payment Development team is a part of the BCS division with responsibility for cards, payments, services and product developments.

 

Specialist, Card & Payment Development

 

You develop, implement and integrate card and payment solutions for all segments across Circle K Europe closely aligned with our strategy and business needs

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new payment features, services and concepts, including improving our customer facing portals (Card e-Services, Fuel e-Services, web shop, etc.)
  • Plan, structure and execute on key deliveries as part of core team on card and payment development and integration projects
  • Create insight into current and future card and payment technology trends
  • Identify, evaluate and initiate payment solutions and concepts for both B2B and B2C in collaboration with other departments
  • Support development of CKE’s card and payment strategy
  • Manage interface towards IT and other areas on card and payment projects

 

Desired profile

  • Relevant higher education (e.g. Master in industrial engineering, IT, business administration/ economics, sales/marketing, etc.)
  • 2-4 years experience from management consulting - core management consulting skills are essential
  • Strong business acumen, an analytical mindset and a keen interest in technology
