Group Financial Controller




Do you have good controlling and reporting experience, and would you like to step into one of the largest IT companies in the Nordics:


·         Be part of the Group Accounting function in EVRY and contribute to highest professional level of financial reporting?

·         Serve as finance business partner in accounting/reporting matters?


Ensure compliance and world class reporting in a large Nordic company

You will join the Group Accounting function and play an important role in ensuring that the consolidated financial figures in EVRY are of the best quality – in internal as well as external financial reporting. At the same time, you will become an important finance business partner to the business areas in EVRY advising on accounting treatment from a business perspective. This will give you a good network across our Nordic and Global organization, where you will report to the Head of Group Reporting.


Responsibilities and tasks 

As part of Group Accounting you will work with challenging accounting and reporting tasks on a daily basis within our areas of responsibility. Your main responsibilities include:


·         Advising and following up on selected business units on financial reporting, to ensure reporting in line with internal policies and procedures

·         Responsible for reporting of selected business units / legal entities

·         Controlling of Corporate Staff functions (i.e responsible for reporting and following up on monthly figures and budget preparation)

·         Participate in selected corporate projects

·         Preparation and review of certain notes to the consolidated annual accounts

·         Responsible for selected annual accounts prepared in compliance with IFRS (Norwegian Companies)

·         Responsible for preparation of selected tax calculation and tax papers for Norwegian companies

·         Documenting policies and procedures related to financial processes

·         Dialogue with Group Auditors on relevant accounting matters



Qualifications & personal attributes

In this position, you will increase your accounting and reporting skills in thinking end-to-end and finding business solutions that work for all parts of a large Nordic organization. To succeed in doing so, you:


·         MRR - Master degree in Audit and Accounting

·         More than 2 years of relevant experience within Audit, Finance or Accounting services

·         Solid financial understanding of IFRS

·         Have experience from a compliance or controlling department of a large company or similar advisor experience from a Big Four audit firm

·         Have great communication skills, speak and write English and Norwegian effortlessly at the highest level

·         Are open-minded and extrovert and used to working independently as well as in teams

·         Are a very responsible person used to delivering high-quality work
