Position Overview

Circle K is one of the world’s leading convenience and fuel retailer with 15,000 sites across its network in North America (U.S. and Canada), Europe (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Ireland, the Baltics and Russia), Asia and the Middle East. The European Management is placed in Oslo, Norway, and manages about 25,000 people.

Close to 60% of Circle K total fuel sales stem from B2B customers, utilizing fuel cards. The BCS division is responsible for all cards, services and product developments for Circle K in Europe. The Card & Payment Development team is a part of the BCS division with responsibility for cards, payments, services and product developments.



Senior Specialist, Customer Portal Development



As business owner of B2B portal solutions you secure CKE’s competitive advantage in line with our corporate strategy for the European market


Key responsibilities

·         Drive our B2B portal and API development according to business needs, as well as define our overall portal strategy for CKE

    • Identify and evaluate portal solutions and concepts specific for the B2B fuel card segment (in collaboration with other departments)
    • Deploy new card, payment and B2B customer facing portal solutions (e.g. card portal, bulk fuel portal, web shop and reseller portal)

·         Secure portal management, continuous improvement and release management

    • Establish interface towards IT, procurement, B2B marketing and other stakeholders for B2B portal development and management
    • Drive portal adoption – define and coordinate sign-up campaigns with BUs closely aligned with BCS Operational Excellence
    • Create portal usage analysis and documentation (registrations, google analytics, customer activity, Salesforce integration etc..
    • Communicate internally and establish training related to B2B portals
    • Perform business change and deployment management

·         Create insight into current and future portal and e-commerce technology trends


Desired profile

·         Experience from management consulting, as well as portal development, self services solutions or similar is an advantage - core management consulting skills are essential

·         Strong business acumen, an analytical mindset and a keen interest in technology

·         3-5 years of experience from business development, process improvement projects or alike with proven track record

·         Relevant higher education (e.g. Master in industrial engineering, IT, business administration/ economics, sales/marketing, etc.)
